Menonton film The beach (yang dibintangi oleh Leonardo DiCaprio), saya jadi teringat dengan bebarapa pertanyaan. Pertanyaan yang sepertinya pernah muncul dalam benak kita semua, “Apa itu surga?”….
The Beach menceritakan kisah sekelompok orang yang menikmati “surga”.Surga yang mereka batasi penghuninya.Membatasi surga agar tidak merusak keindahan dan mengotori kesuciannya.Dan bagi mereka yang menjadi penghuni surga yang eksklusif. Surga yang indah dan suci yang tidak bias dinikmati oleh orang lainnya.
Tetapi mereka lupa, ketika mereka meng-eksklusif-kan surga, justru mereka telah merendahkan (makna) surga.Mereka telah menjaadikan keindahan surga terasa hambar.
